YMCA of Abilene: Keeping Kids’ Minds and Bodies Active

The YMCA of Abilene is holding their annual “Healthy Kids Day” event on April 26, 2014 Saturday at the Redbud Family Center from 9am – 1pm. This event is FREE to the community and will kick start physical activity and learning now and throughout the summer.The Healthy Kids Day Kick off starts with a 1 mile Fun Run for the whole family at 8:30am. After the run you are welcome to experience summer at the Y. We will have Summer Camp registration, swim lesson registration, baseball registration, youth fitness challenges, family open swim, local vendors, bounce house and demos of several programs we offer such as: Cheer, Karate, Dance and so much more.The YMCA Healthy Kids Day is focused on health and education for not only children but for the entire family to get healthy and stay healthy. We invite you to participate in a great event and kick off your summer right!
