I watched the yellow lilies outside my window bloom each yearShe nourished them since the planting stage.A beauty of nature emerged because of my Momma dear. Her gentle touch of love spread through each phase. She partnered with nature to create from the start.Seeds that spread from carefully tended rich brown soilThe beauty that transpired came from within her heart. As if they were her children, the lilies blossomed with security. When it was cold she covered them with a warm blanketKeeping them protected as Jack Frost tried to destroy. She never left the budding plants unattended to shrivel.Because of her, they blossomed into beautiful lilies4/23/2013
