United Methodist Service Center and Food Pantry Requests Help from the Community with Thanksgiving for Hungry Families!

Items requested: A frozen turkey any size, Green beans , Stuffing mix , Instant mashed potatoes , Cranberry Sauce , Brownie mix , Evaporated milk , Instant gravy mix , Canned fruit . To feed a family a Thanksgiving meal, include the foods listed above. The pantry will provide a loaf of bread. Please put the food in a paper grocery bag and the turkey in a separate bag. This will be easier to store at the pantry. One bag of food plus one turkey will be distributed to qualifying families on Tuesday November 24th, or Wednesday, November 25th as supplies last. The Thanksgiving food donations will be accepted on Tuesday, November 24th, from 8:30 am. to 8pm, at the United Methodist Food Pantry at 2626 North First in Abilene.
