By Joe Starkey

A office celebration took place on Cyprus Street. SouthWest Home Care just completed it’s second state inspection with zero deficiencies. They provide nurses, nurses assistants, physical and occupational therapy and social workers for home care in a {{more}} 70 mile radius around Abilene. 30 employees serve customers who are mostly geriatric with many on medicare. The staff are assigned to a patient and stay with that patient as long as they need care.Mrs. Martha Jones is the Administrative Assistant and has been with the firm since they opened in 1997. She attributes the great score to teamwork. “We support each other and everybody provides a helping hand. They see what needs doing and do it regardless of job description.”Congratulations to CEO Larry Jones , Co-owner Tonya Brown and all the staff.
