The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation awards grants annually to the Hispanic College Fund and United Negro College Fund to fund scholarships for students pursuing a variety of degrees within the hospitality industry.{{more}}Eligible students must:• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident living in the U.S. or Puerto Rico• Plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student during the 2012/2013 school year in an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. that has a hospitality management or culinary degree program• Plan to pursue a degree within the hospitality management, hotel management, culinary or food and beverage fieldAs part of this program Marriott International, Inc. provides opportunities for:• Internships• Networking with influential leaders and industry executives• Learning career skills through workshops and mentoring relationships• Attending annual HCF and UNCF eventsTo be considered for a renewable scholarship of up to $9,000 annually in tuition support, please apply online today at http://scholarships.hispanicfund.org/marriott or http://www.uncf.org/marriottscholarsScholarship recipients are selected by HCF and UNCF.The application deadline is March 1, 2012.
