Tall City Blues Fest, a 1st annual multi-day music festival, will take place in downtown Midland’s Centennial Park Plaza the last weekend in July.Featuring blues & roots music, the Festival will host 17 different performers, a BBQ Cook-Off, West Texas Artisan’s Gallery, Educational Workshops, Midnight Troubadours and VIP Exclusive Access areas, including backstage and the Music Memorabilia Museum.{{more}}Tall City Blues Fest is a come-and-go weekend Festival with gates opening at 3 PM on Friday, July 29. On Saturday, gates open at 9 AM, with continuous music all day, and on Sunday, the Festival will host a FREE Community Blues Jam.”We feel like blues music is important to our community and we wanted to eliminate any barriers to being able to experience the essence of blues music”, said Lisa Grissom, Producer for Tall City Blues Fest.
