Summer Computer Science Workshop

Got Thought? 2010 is a one week summer workshop, June 21 – 25, for upcoming high school seniors and those who just graduated. Dr. Terry Sergeant says a brief look at computer forensics is probably one of the most tantalizing subjects during his “Got Thought?” computer camp at Hardin-Simmons University.{{more}}Students signed up for the week-long camp are coming mostly from Abilene, Cooper, and Wylie high schools this year.The camp covers web design, programming, computer logic, and the study of tools and techniques used to reveal and hide information a.k.a. computer forensics.No former background is required to participate in Got Thought? 2010. A $1,500 scholarship at attend Hardin-Simmons University is offered to students who complete the workshop.The workshop will be held at Hardin-Simmons University in the Johnson Building computer lab 202.If I can help you with any news stories about the camp, you can reach me at 670-1264.
