Steve Smith the pulpit minister for the last four years at BakerHeights Church of Christ was honored for his service to God at the BakerHeights Congregation. Most of the time when ministers are honored they are moving to anothercity. This is not the case with Steve, he will remain at Baker Heights and workas the Involvement minister. The eldersof the congregation believe that Steve is uniquely qualified to fill this newlycreated position. In his new role hisprimary function will be to help keep new and old members plugged in at BakerHeights and to encourage them to stay committed to God and grow in their faith. {{more}} Steve received a bowl made out of Mesquite wood.
