Sports Alliance need volunteers

By Anynmous

June 25-28 we are hosting an AAU – Track & Field Junior Olympic National Qualifier. 400 participants 8 – 18 years of age will come to Abilene . We have 150 volunteer spots that need to be filled over a 4 day period. We expect many of these spots will be filled with the same people on multiple days. {{more}} Events will be held on Thursday and Friday at Hardin-Simmons and Saturday and Sunday at Abilene Christian. The majority of the slots are on the field. We will not be the Officials but the helpers. College, High school, Junior High and Middle School students will be perfect for most of these spots. Please give every consideration to volunteering to make this event successful. We estimate this Qualifier will generate over $350,000 into Abilene ’s economy. If you can help please contact Debbie Schultz at 325 676 2556
