You can bet your bottomdollar that supporting you local community and shopping within it has benefitsthat far exceed what you might think. What if you could get exactly what you needed without having to shop onlineor travel too far? I mean who wouldn’t want to save a little gas and time whenyou can?  Well just a few days ago I hada conversation with Crystal Castleman and her mother Katherine Friere Co-Ownerof Angel’s Dance Shop.    I wanted to know where theidea for the shop came from.  Crystalsaid that on a trip to Dallas she looked over at her mother and asked, “Why arewe continuing to buy our dance outfits in Dallas?” Crystals said that she has asister that has danced for 17 years, another sister that has danced for 8 and adaughter of her own who has danced for 7years. She explains that over that timeperiod, they have spent a lot time and money going to Dallas. {{more}}   Crystal Castleman checks the inventory of her well stocked store. Dance parents can save time, money and help the local economy by shopping at home. Photo By Floyd Miller After thinking about it theycame up with a great solution, one in which brought about Angel’s Dance Shop. The business has been opened since May of this year and is doing quite well. They have loyal customers here in Abilene, some that come from Midland, SanAngelo, Brownwood and all over West Texas! The main attraction is a store that is fully stocked with everythingthat a dancer would need. They have leo’s, skirts, shorts, pants, dance shoesand other accessories.  They also pridethemselves in the fact that they are Authorized Dealers of brands like Capezio,Bloch, Motionwear, Gaynor Minden and many more.   When you shop at Angels DanceShop you will get merchandise of the highest quality and at a reasonableprice.  You save both money and time bynot having to drive 3 to 4 hours one way. “The money a person would spend on A Wide selection of shoes. Castleman and Freire believe that whenever wecan, we should spend our money with the people that support Toys for Tots,Meals on Wheels and other local organizations. Castleman owns several businesses’here in town and the money made, goes back to these organizations as well as toothers. It’s their way of giving back to the Community and now with Angel’sDance Shop open you have a chance to do the same. So go ahead and put on yourdancing shoes, there’s a lot to dance about!    You can buy these in Abilene. Photo by Floyd Miller      A favorite stop for young girls. Photo By Floyd Miller
