Things were not always easy. Sometimes money was scare, and times were hard, but these are the times when you pray, lean on God and stay together.”The couple’s advice to marriages is “always remember that a marriage never stops growing. It has to be nurtured and kept alive. Marriage is hard work and sacrifice, and with hard work and sacrifice comes success.”The couple was members at Morning Star Baptist Church and raised their children there under the leadership of the late Rev. Joe Jackson. The Daughterys are now members of the King Solomon Baptist Church, where Dr. Houston McLendon, is Pastor.
