AbileneRoman Edward Bell 49 of Abilene passed away Friday, October 18 at his home with family by his side. Funeral services will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church located at 608 N. 7th St. Friday October 25, at 11am with Pastor Luben as the Eulogist. The Family will receive friends at the visitation at Macedonia Baptist Church Thursday from 6-8pm.Roman was born May 23, 1964 in Abilene Texas to the parentage of Clarence and Sarah Bell. Roman received his education from Abilene ISD, graduating from Abilene High Class of 1982. Roman met the love of his life Leticia Espinoza-Bell in Abilene and the spent 30 loving years together. Through this union came 2 sons Michael Roman and Quentin Edward Bell. He loved the lord, and was raised in the church being a long time member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Roman loved his family and would not miss any of his sons’ football games. {{more}}He was a all-around good guy who never met a stranger. During Football season you could find Roman rooting for his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. Roman was an outdoorsman, who loved to fish, golf and enjoyed any competitive sport. He worked at Frontier Welding Products as a structural steel fabricator.Roman leaves to cherish his memory wife of 30 years Leticia Bell of Abilene, 2 sons Michael Bell , and Quentin Bell both of Abilene, Parents, Clarence and Sarah Bell, sister Cecilia Burke of Abilene, 2 brothers Craig Bell, and Scott Bell both of Abilene, and a host of extended family and friends.Dove Funeral Home672-3228Published in Abilene Reporter-News on Oct. 24, 2013
