Mr. Bob Walker retires from Taylor County

Mr. Bob Walker retired after 23 years service to Taylor County. Starting as a probation officer over in the court house, he ended his service as the Community Service Coordinator in a building that he helped design and organize the procedures. {{more}} His first career was in the US Air Force and after retiring from Dyess AFB, he started working for Taylor County February 3, 1984 and retired on July 27, 2007. He gave his next goals as either contributing as a school crossing guard or taking long naps.He told a large crowd of friends and co-workers that the rewards were not what the kids coming in had done but what they did after. “You have to climb the mountain to see the view”Many well wishes to him in his retirement and he surely has climbed the mountain and deserves the view.
