McMurry Kinesiology Department Inducts Nine Into National Fraternity

McMurry’s Department of Kinesiology welcomed nine new members into its chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa, the national fraternity for Exercise Science and Physical Education, on Sunday, April 10. Phi Epsilon Kappa is a national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in health, physical education, recreation, and other related fields. {{more}}Participating in the induction luncheon and ceremony in the Furr Welcome Center were Casey Bargsley ’16, Isaiah Santos ’17, Beckett Medford ’19, JJ Austin ’16, Sierra Donohue ‘17, Ashley Hernandez ’17, and Austin Barajas ’17. Not pictured: Kayla Blevins ’16 and Katie Wade ’16. Guest speaker for the event was McMurry alumna Amber Thornberry Lewis ’14 who is currently completing her doctorate in physical therapy at Hardin-Simmons University.
