Library welcomes Dino Bob back to the neighborhood

By Floyd Miller

Abilene Public Library is happy to welcome our big green friend, Dino Bob, as he returns to his perch above downtown Abilene. All downtown will be welcoming him home during ArtWalk on June 12th beginning at 5:30 p.m. As part of the celebration, {{more}} Children’s Librarian Marie Noe and her talented staff will be face painting Dino Bob on anyone who’d like to have it done during ArtWalk, 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Just stop by APL to cool off and rest your feet as you enjoy all the Dino Bob activites. And if you’d like to find out more about Dino Bob, check out his book “Dinosaur Bob and his Adventures with the Family Lazardo” by William Joyce. Your library has several copies of this children’s classic on hand.
