Dear Governor Perry,According to Amazon.com your new book advocating state’s rights is for sale, and your collaborator was Newt Gingrich.Mr. Gingrich has stated that President Obama “is so outside of our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]…This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president.”Obviously Mr. Gingrich has the right to describe his political views and may be honestly describing his beliefs that our President hates America and somehow inherited these views biologically or however he may describe his theory. Will you please tell the citizens of the state whether you agree or disagree with your collaborator on his characterization of the views of the President of the United States?{{more}}Mr. Gingrich must endorse your views, as is evidenced in the fact that he is helping you with your book. Do you or do you not endorse his views?Respectfully,Rodney Ellis – State Senator Royce West – State Senator Sylvester Turner – State Representative; Chairman, House African American Caucus
