Kiwanis Fish Fry

By Joe Starkey

Just a few words to remind everyone NOT to miss the next Fish Fry. You had your choice between delicious catfish or chicken strips or both and as many trips back for more as your stomach and pride will let you. I really enjoyed the coleslaw and the biscuit as well. There was a lot of hard work going on at the Kiwanis fish fry.Vincent Alley Dawson was proving the music during the time I was eating and he was delightful. The ballads came over the conversation clearly while being soft enough that we could enjoy talking with friends old and new.Vincent Alley Dawson.I covered five events Saturday afternoon and evening and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Wilson followed? Led me to four of them. The fish fry was however, the first chance I got to really sit and visit. Their funnel cake looked so good that I ended up taking one home.
