Kiwanis Chili Day

The Greater Kiwanis Club hosted another successful Chili Day. The Chili Recipe has remained a secret for many years and is only passed down to fellow Kiwanis after some serious vetting.

People come back each year because this particular bowl of chili is one sell for only one day. In addition to the chili there were tacos, ice cream and cobbler served by Nancy Baker and her crew, and the silent auction which had a variety of items for the most discriminating shopper. The silent auction is beginning to take on a life of its own.

The Chili Day also provided an opportunity to see people that you may have not seen for a while.

Next year’s Chili Day will be on the last Saturday in February. Mark your calendar!
