It’s Hot Out There

It’s Hot Out There

This is the stock tank on my land North of Eskota. I have only seen it lower one time in the 64 years I’ve been going there. I went by the cattle sale last week and the area ranchers are selling off their best breeding stock as they can’t find feed for them and are running out of water. Our family farm outside of Plainview basically has lost all the crops, except for the 160 irrigated acres, and only one well of five is still drawing water. The planners for this part of the world need to create a plan that provides water for our people, crops and animals.
