Health District Launches Dental Program

ABILENE, Texas – The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District is launching a Dental Program on October 14, 2014. The Health District welcomes Dr. Margaret Cowling, D.D.S., who will be providing the dental services. The Dental Clinic will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Current dental services are limited to private pay patients only. The clinic will accept private dental insurance, Medicaid and CHIP at a later date. The cost is $150 per visit. The clinic will offer dental services including: comprehensive exams, cleanings, deep cleanings, emergency exams, fillings, extractions, sealants, fluoride treatments, and x-rays. The Dental Clinic is located at the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District, 850 N. 6th St. To schedule an appointment please call 325-692-5600.
