Daniel Willis, Owner and operator of Daniel’s Distributing/Zach’s Dog Food opened its doors in 2003 and dogs in Texas begin to eat a healthier meal. Willis started his business as a home delivery service for pet owners. Willis got his business started by going door to door passing out flyers and free samples of his product.Willis said, “I took the ‘common sense’ approach to serving customers: offering the best products at the most reasonable prices, prompt service, and to treat customers like I would like to be treated.” I wanted to know how Willis got into the dog food business. He said, “After being laid off work from the oil field business, I was searching for something that no one else had, would be around for years to come, and would benefit the public. Realizing how convenient it is to have something delivered to your door; the thought came to me, why not dog food delivered door to door for pets?”{{more}}Willis is still doing the door to door approach but now it’s bigger doors. They now have their product in some of the Costco Stores, and will be meeting with the executives of Tractor Supply in Franklin, TN on April 8th. Their products can be found at Jackson Brothers in Abilene. They have three products and are working on a fourth one.
