Seizures can affect your life in many different ways.   Not knowing when a seizure might occur can produce anxiety, fear, a feeling of self-doubt. It can make you reluctant to be out in public, thereby affecting your social life, work or schooling, travel, home-life and so much more. Your self-esteem and your feeling of self-control are often affected, many times depression or feelings of inadequacy reduce our ability to function like those around us.   Having seizures usually mean more visits to Doctors and Hospitals, medications etc.  this increases healthcare cost and places another burden on income which has in many cases been reduced because of the seizures. Most medications have side effects that often reduce our ability to function normally and sometimes produce other health problems.  {{more}} Reduced or No Seizures Experienced – Ontario, Canada   In the Epilepsy Waterloo Wellington Centre in Ontario as well as some privately, a total of 9 participants, all with varying degrees of Seizure problems, agreed to be part of a protocol to measure Bowenworks effectiveness in working with Seizures. This protocol involved 9 sessions over a period of 6 months. In general the number of seizures decreased and the intensity lessened for all participants. I personally have had the opportunity to work with one client who was having 1 light seizure per month and in the 6 month period he only had 1 seizure and become much more confident in himself, became more willing to appear in public and participate in many activities that he had avoided before.   Free Seizure Workshop and Six Month Protocol   Saturday, July 9th  9:00-12:00 at Bowtech for Health, 710 B Butternut, here in Abilene I extend an invitation to any who have seizures an opportunity to join a free 6 month, 9 session Bowenwork Seizure Protocol.
