Look around. What’s going on? Do we share in this country, this state, this city, this community, our schools, our churches and our homes? Are we really sharing? Do we actually care about each other? Or is there an attitude of, “I’ve got mine. Oh you don’t have your basic necessities? That’s too bad. That’s so sad, but good luck with that.” Do we “play fair” or do we operate in a way to make sure that we come out on top of every agreement, business deal or transaction by using some type of manipulation in the process. In kindergarten it is taught that we don’t hit people. Now, victims are hit with ammunition from hand guns and even assault weapons by individuals who don’t seem to be concerned about the value of a human life. Do we feel that it is ok to take things that don’t belong to us? Most of us know that it is wrong to take another’s property, but we are experiencing more theft, embezzlement and fraud than ever. {{more}} When was the last time someone told you they were sorry for something they did that hurt you? When was the last time you asked someone for forgiveness for some hurt that you caused? Are we attempting to live balanced lives? If we aren’t learning then we aren’t living and we aren’t growing mentally. Our bodies need exercise to increase longevity and for better health. Music takes away stress and improves our moods. It can also drive away depression. Spend time with God alone. Get to know Him through the Scripture for a life altering experience. Also, rest at naptime rejuvenates the mind and body Add to the quality of life on this planet by finding something that you love to do and something that others need. Then you’ll never work a day in your life. Take time to revisit and practice what you learned in kindergarten and the world will be a better place. We need to teach the young people to remember what they learned in Kindergarten also.
