ACU students learn “Know Boundaries” before Spring Break

The Abilene Christian University Counseling Center will encourage students to “Know Boundaries” during Making Choices Week March 5-7. The week will feature speakers and events to help students make good choices as they prepare for Spring Break. Randy Harris, instructor {{more}} of Bible, ministry and missions, will begin the week by speaking about “God’s Will & Making Choices” during Chapel March 5 at 11 a.m. in Moody Coliseum. Tuesday morning’s Chapel will feature Richard Beck, associate professor and Chair of the psychology department. He will discuss “The Theology and Psychology of Making Godly Choices.” Later that evening during a Chapel Forum, a panel of ACU faculty and peer leaders will discuss how to make Godly choices in the face of peer pressure. The forum begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in Cullen Auditorium. At 8:30 p.m., students will be treated to a “Spring Fling Fiesta” in the Bean Spout, located in the basement of the Campus Center . The Fiesta, sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, will include live music by the Paul Cothon Band, free food and door prizes. To conclude the week, booths focusing on making good choices will be set up in the Campus Center March 7 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
